Sandwiched between two crumbly crust pastry, was this heavenly soft vanilla custard which thankfully, wasn't too overwhelmingly sweet. It is nice eaten on its own, but also goes just as well with a drizzle of strawberry jam.

I loved everything about La Renaissance's macarons - especially the texture. They're not hard, yet not soft either. They were spot-on, with a nice crisp that makes you go "WOW" as you bite into them.

EARL serves gourmet sandwiches with a higher price range of $11-$16.
